Bruce is passionate about educating and treating patients to enable them to keep their teeth for life, not just patching what has broken but also treating the cause of the problem, thus restoring patients to dental health. He has made this focus the centre of the Care Dental Implant Clinic’s ethos.
Bruce graduated from Dundee in 1990 and then progressed to set up Care Dental, Care Dental Implant Clinic and Signature Ceramics, now owned by Portman Healthcare. One of his key interests is in coaching and mentoring his referring colleagues.
Having worked within implant dentistry since 1995 he has now placed over 10,000 implants. As part of his continuing professional studies, he has completed his postgraduate diploma with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With a career spanning 33 years, he is more convinced than ever of how amazing dentistry can be. His background is Scottish general practice, his work encompasses advanced implant and restorative care. The clinic`s laboratory, Signature Ceramics is fully equipped
with advanced digital equipment and systems. This cutting-edge technology supports the clinics work. Bruce is happy when coach his referring colleagues and enjoys delivering his in-house mentoring programme. When Bruce has nothing else to do, you may see him on his bike cycling the beautiful Perthshire countryside.

Graeme is a highly experienced and competent clinician within Care Dental and Implant Clinic. He provides surgical implant dentistry and advanced restorative dentistry to our own, Care Dental, patients and accepts patients on a referral basis from a wide network of referring practices. His work often involves supporting and mentoring dentists with more advanced cases.
Graeme has significantly invested in further education since qualifying from the University of Dundee in 2007, having successfully gained many further qualifications over his career. He has a special interest in occlusion and the associated, often complex, treatment of wear and the collapsed dentition, as well as treating TMJ issues.
He is a member of the ITI (International Team of Implantology), the BAPD (British Association of Private Dentistry) The BARD (British Academy of Restorative Dentistry) and is a CBCT level 2 certified clinician.
Outside of the clinic, Graeme enjoys a busy life with his wife and 2 young sons. When he finds the time, he might manage a few miles on his bike, or a round of golf with friends.

Conall graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2023 and completed his Vocational Training in Glasgow. Since qualifying, he has dedicated a substantial portion of his time to advancing his clinical expertise, demonstrating a strong commitment to continued professional development.
Just over a year after qualifying, Conall has obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and is now also fully qualified in Intravenous Sedation. Dr. Strickland is currently working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry, alongside working as a Junior lecturer with Tipton training Academy, further strengthening his expertise in comprehensive patient care.
With a particular focus on restorative and implant dentistry, he has undertaken over 1,000 hours of direct implant mentorship at Care dental under the guidance of his Father and lead clinician Dr. Bruce Strickland, gaining extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of implant and implant restorative procedures. His meticulous attention to detail, technical precision, and forward-thinking approach enable him to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes tailored to each patient.

Dr Kieran Hay graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and with over 20 years of experience and his dedicated interest in implant dentistry and advanced restorative/cosmetic dentistry, you can enjoy an unparalleled level of comfort, care, and quality in his dental treatments. At our clinic, we welcome patients from all over Scotland and sometimes beyond. Our dedicated Implant and Restorative Team offers all aspects of reconstructive dentistry and implants within a state-of-the-art facility. Plus, we can partner with our referring colleagues to provide training to restore implants in their own practice.
Kieran provides patients with personalised dental care that is tailored to their individual needs, ensuring that they feel comfortable, secure, and confident in their treatment. With collaboration and coordination of care with our referrers he integrates implants into patients' restorative plans. Our seamless referral process allows patients and dentists to stay connected, providing the best care possible.
Always striving to increase his knowledge and experience, Kieran is currently working towards a PG Certificate qualification in Restorative Dentistry. In addition, Kieran has a keen interest in the use of Digital planning and placement techniques, within the implant clinic, something which ensures a very high level of accuracy and predictability throughout the entire treatment process.
Life balance is key to leading a happy and healthy life - both inside and outside of work! Kieran finds time to not only excel in his professional life but is also a keen cyclist, participating in Gravel and mountain bike events, an avid cook, and most importantly enjoys spending quality time with his wife and young daughter.

Bilal is a highly skilled dentist who graduated from the University of Dundee in 2011, he completed his vocational training in Stenhousemuir, Falkirk and worked as an associate for 6 years at the same practice before joining the team at Care Dental in 2017.He currently works between Crieff, Glasgow and Prestwick.
With a passion for learning, Bilal continually upskills himself with courses and the latest dental technology. Having completed his MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in November 2014, Bilal continued on a 2-year Advanced Restorative Programme with Professor Paul Tipton and is added to his qualifications in dental implants with Dr Bruce Strickland. He also has a diploma in Endodontics from the University of Chester and recently was awarded a Level 7 Diploma is Periodontics.
Bilal’s professional passion lies in implant dentistry, where he focuses on helping patients restore missing teeth with long-lasting, natural-looking solutions. He has a particular interest in combining implant treatment with advanced restorative techniques to achieve the best possible functional and aesthetic outcomes. Bilal is committed to continually developing his skills in this field by attending advanced courses, hands-on training, and staying up to date with the latest technologies, enabling him to provide modern, evidence-based implant treatments tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Outside of dentistry, Bilal’s greatest joy is being a father to his three children. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and being actively involved in their daily lives, whether that’s supporting their activities, spending time together at home, or simply doing the morning school drop-offs!

Deborah is a compassionate and highly experienced dentist with a special interest in advanced restorative dentistry, Invisalign aesthetic teeth straightening, tooth reshaping, and caring for anxious patients. Her focus is always on delivering long-term dental function while helping each patient achieve their best and most confident smile.
Deborah graduated from Dundee Dental Hospital in 1998 with a BDS degree and went on to complete two years as a Senior House Officer, gaining valuable experience in oral surgery, implant surgery, oral medicine, and IV sedation. She later achieved the MFDS qualification, further strengthening her expertise in comprehensive patient care.
Committed to continual professional development, Deborah has completed many courses including an intensive two-year programme in advanced restorative dentistry. She applies her advanced knowledge of occlusion, (how our teeth bite together), jaw pain, and airway considerations to her Invisalign treatment planning, ensuring her patients benefit from improved long-term function, as well as outstanding aesthetic results.
Deborah is also a member of Molis Coaching, a leading provider of advanced Invisalign education, and is currently completing another Molis Coaching Qualification Programme. This advanced training enables her to plan and treat more complex Invisalign cases with greater precision and predictability.
Known for her gentle and understanding approach, Deborah has also completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to help support anxious patients, ensuring they feel relaxed, informed, and cared for throughout their treatment.
Deborah’s greatest professional satisfaction comes from transforming smiles with functional longevity and seeing patients regain their confidence and enthusiasm for their oral health.
Outside the practice, Deborah’s passion to help others has led her to travel several times to the remote islands of the Philippines, volunteering her dental skills to help communities with little or no access to dental care. She loves the outdoors can be found on a hilltop or wild swimming to give her a reset for the week ahead.

Prior to attending university, Murray became a qualified dental nurse at Care Dental, Crieff. Murray then went on to further develop his dental knowledge and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from the University of Dundee in 2019. He completed his vocational training at Dental Care, Perth and has continued to work there as an associate dentist for the last two years. He has continued his professional development by completing courses in Sure Smile clear aligners and has completed postgraduate training courses in treatment planning and occlusion.
Murray is an exceptionally capable and caring clinician who is a reliable and compassionate asset to our team.

Lindsey graduated from Glasgow University in 1994 and spent the first ten years of her career with the Royal Air Force as a Dental Officer. During this time, she took full advantage of the post graduate training on offer and obtained MFGDP(UK). Working with the Clinical Advisor in Endodontics piqued her interest in endodontics (root canal treatments). After leaving the RAF she moved with her young family to Perthshire and started working with Bruce at Care Dental. Here she continued to expand her general dental skills and focus particularly on endodontics, attaining clinical experience at Dundee Dental Hospital Endodontic Clinic. As one of the first general dental practices to operate with a dental microscope, Lindsey was able to provide a local endodontic referral service.
After a brief hiatus living and working in Western Australia, Lindsey returned to Scotland. She now splits her time working as a Specialty Dentist in endodontics at Glasgow Dental Hospital, and back with Bruce and the team at Care Dental. She is also working towards an MSc in restorative dentistry. She is committed to resurrecting the endodontic referral system, with the advantage of a new microscope and the CBCT scanner.
Out of work, Lindsey can usually be found riding one of the bikes from her collection or walking the hills with her spaniels.

Jessica joined the Care Dental Implant Team in 2008. Jessica is passionate about patient centred care ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care and support through their dental treatment journey. Jessica has been working in partnership with referral practices managing complex treatment plans, collaborating closely with patients and external referrers to coordinate appointments and ensure continuity of care.
More recently, she has moved into the practice management and brings years of clinical and operational knowledge into this role.

Sheona graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital 40 years ago. During that time Sheona has gained vast experience and knowledge working with a wide array of patients with a broad spectrum of dental hygiene requirements.
Sheona joined Care Dental in November 2008 where she developed a passion for working within the Implant Clinic. She enjoys motivating patients to understand the importance of achieving and maintaining a good oral hygiene. Sheona is trained and confident in all aspects of dental hygiene and regularly undergoing CPD training to remain up to date with current guidelines and treatments.

Debbie graduated as a Dental Hygienist from Liverpool University in 1998. After relocating to Perth in 2004, from Sunderland. Debbie has worked at Care Dental for the past 20 years supporting her patients with routine hygiene appointments to help support their oral health. Debbie has a calming, supportive nature and a passion for treating anxious patients. She is also very experienced in treating implant patients and is trained in guided Biofilm Therapy. Debbie regularly undertakes CPD training to remain up to date with current guidelines and treatments.
Diane graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1998, joining Care Dental in 2018 after gaining experience in practices in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Diane has over 25 years of experience helping nervous patients restore their confidence, allowing them to feel relaxed within a dental setting. She is a dedicated hygienist with a passion for providing excellent patient care. Diane is extremely passionate about improving oral health of patients and strongly believes prevention is key. Diane regularly undertakes CPD training to remain up to date with current guidelines and treatments.
